Red Morgan's scientist father creates a metallic suit that when charged by a box on a belt it makes the wearer invisible (it comes with a hood thus covering his whole body when he chooses to be invisible). When re-appearing, sparks of light dance about the body for several minutes. (This is caused by the light rays, that have been broken, coming together). Thus when Red dons the suit to avenge the death of his father and fight crime, he takes on the name the Sparkler! In his next adventure, the suit is all blue.
